Plan Design & Development

Content from legacy planning tools or Word/Excel files are imported quickly and directly into BConView. Templates are supplied to fill gaps in clients' continuity planning processes. All content types are supported, e.g., documents and files, contact lists, database tables, etc.

Standard templates and processes are available for immediate use.  Administrators can easily and immediately review, document and update plans and procedures in BConView.

Training, Awareness & Exercises
In order to support this phase, calendar views manage schedules. For awareness, there are unlimited free concurrent Read-Only accounts allowed on BConView. Any plan participant who needs to review content on the system, can be allowed by the Administrator with no license charges.

Exercises help provide emergency simulations that promote preparedness; improve response capability of individuals and organizations; validate plans, policies, procedures and systems; and determine the effectiveness of command, control, communication functions and event-scene activities.

Updating & Maintenance
Best practices indicate organizations should have a policy of periodic review and systems to update plan elements. This is often the responsibility of over-worked Contributors in multiple locations. BConView allows simplified creation and re-use of routine and one-off assignments, rolled-up in Task Management for central viewing by Administrators. Gantt chart views are available.
